Demonic Lair #1
| Quote: | Deep under the city of Miami; hidden from the warm rays of the sun lies a compound so big it
would make Demon Hunters tremble at the realization of just how big and structured Demons truly were. The compound was so massive it was nothing short
of an underground city and it's installations were surprisingly modern. Cement walls and corridors spreaded throughout the maze-like city and
contained just about everything Demons needed. Aside from habitation, the Demons, the real Demons would find training chambers and
battlegrounds where they had access to all kinds of weaponry in order to master the art of fighting. Those venturing through these passages had better
beware though as not all were welcome to walk down these corridors. All the points of access were well guarded and someone with wrong intentions would
most likely survive just long enough to smell the skin burning off their bones. The Lair in itself was so vast that few had visited it all and it
still remained a mystery to most who inhabited it as the cold, cement corridors snaked through the earth and led from one end of the city to the
other. In fact, the city of Miami was literally built right over the closest thing anyone would ever get to hell. |
Jaysen walked through one of the secluded entrances of the underground compound with a low grunt as the Demon guarding the entrance gave him a quick
bow before moving out of the way. It was the first time since the Demon had been broken out of jail that he had set foot inside the Lair that was
rightfully his and it was obvious from his appearance that he hadn't exactly enjoyed himself over the last couple of days. Still obviously drunk, the
Demon stumbled through the corridors as he headed towards what he knew were his quarters. His mind paused on Seline for the first time since he had
last seen her, before her sister broke her out of jail and before she decided to free him also. Of course he would have killed her if she hadn't
gotten him out, but in a way, he had a newfound respect for her. He thought about B.C also but Jaysen knew he wasn't in full control of his powers at
the moment and so now wasn't the time for a confrontation; he would have all the time in the world now that he was finally out of that damn prison
and he would make sure to get back at everyone who crossed him. One by one, they would all pay. Pay for putting him in jail, pay for letting him rot
there. They would all see what a real Demon was all about.

B.C.
Deep within the lair Billy Crogan was finishing his workout. For the last couple of months he had been engaged in a wild goose chase to get to Alissa
Barstow - one of the demon hunters who had a bigger prize on her head. The bounty was to capture her alive, something that B.C. had a hard time
grasping but still it was a bounty he was interested in collecting. Noticing the shift in the underworld, he gathered that the Leader had returned.
Grinning he figured that Jaysen wouldn't be too happy with the fact that he hadn't helped out. It wasn't that he wasn't interested but Lunetta had
made it fairly clear that she didn't need his help and thus he had stayed out of her way. For some reason he had respect for her.
After a quick shower he returned to his room and changed into a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt. Considering for a minute to take the confrontation
with Jaysen at a later time, he decided it would be best to get it out of the way as soon as possible. And so he went searching for the King of the
Lair. When he found him, B.C. shrugged his shoulders.
"At long last you return," there was no mockery in his voice. B.C. always had respect for those who were more powerful then him, at least when
they've proved that they earned it - and Jaysen had certainly done that through the years. "Lunetta is great, isn't she?" He winked at his boss.

A blast of telekinetic energy rippled through the air with enough strength to bring the entire corridor down and turn it to ruins but Jaysen made sure
the TK wave was focused on one thing and one thing only. Billy. Walking right to the Demon he considered a nothing more than a traitor, Jaysen's mind
was racing with anger over the fact that one of the Demons who was supposed to be a great ally to Jaysen and his cause had been sitting back and
letting other people do the hard work while he did absolutely nothing.
"You've killed so much in the past, ever wondered what it felt like to feel a thick blade slicing through your flesh till it hits a bone?"
Jaysen was big on threats and it was obvious that he wasn't the kind of Demon to turn to weapons to hurt someone; if he wanted to bring pain to
someone, human or demon, he had more than enough powers to do it and didn't need the help of weapons but there was still something... amusing in
making threats like that instead of simply telling someone you would rip their limbs out one by one without as much as a flick of the wrist.
"Bow, or I'll make sure the next time Lunetta sees you it'll be as a pile of flesh and blood, if you're lucky."

B.C.
Having been thrown back by the mighty force, Billy tapped into his own power of superspeed to speed up the movement to be able to somewhat control it
as he hit the ground. Listening carefully to threat the rained over him, he slowly shook his head. After having taken more then one nearly fatal
mental blow he wouldn't mind a knife cutting through his body as he was sure it was hell of a lot less painful.
"I'm not the one that bows, that's what you like about me, remember?" B.C. got back to his feet and dusted off his jeans, having no intention to
kneel or bow. "How about I explain what the hell happened? Lunetta didn't need my help, you know how that girl works, all alone all the way. Seline
worked the inside, Lunetta all of the outside and the girls managed to get you out." B.C. gestured around them. "So I was left fending for this
place, not that I'm complaining but during the time you were away more then one little rodent tried to make their way in to rule instead of you...
Isn't the place just like you left it?"
B.C. smiled friendly, as he could, towards his boss. They both knew that life behind bars sucked big time - and humans thought that they had a bad
life.

Jaysen knew his TK blast wouldn't seriously hurt B.C and he wasn't expecting it to; after all, if the Demon could be so easily harmed, then he was
completely useless to Jaysen and Billy wasn't all that useless. Normally. Scoffing at the Demon's comment, Jaysen shook his head for a moment as he
heard the familiar voice remind him that he was the one keeping everything in order while Jay was... away.
"How 'bout buyin me a beer and we call it even?" Jaysen said with a more laid back tone. B was right about one thing; he wasn't one to bow and
that's one of the reasons Jaysen let the killer's attitude slide even though it often got under the Demon's skin.
"Been keeping busy then? Let me guess, hunting these rodents and making sure there's not enough left for anyone to identify?" Jay wasn't exactly
expecting an answer from Billy and yet he knew that the Demon was a killer at heart. It was still something that the two rarely talked about and had
never truly gotten into the details either.
"What'd you know about Seline?" Jaysen asked without waiting for the Demon's answer to his last question. The truth was, he was much more
interested in getting information on Seline than he was on hearing about B.C's favorite killing methods.

B.C.
With a simple shrug as an answer to the comment about the rodents, B.C. sent a servant to fetch the both of them a cold beer, which was done promptly
and then they were left alone again.
"Hope you don't mind, but I made sure that we have suppliers in our midst delivering goods right down here for us," he shrugged a second time and
grinningly took a swig.
"What do I know about Seline... She's Lunetta's older sister. Her powers are Hypnosis and Feline. Usually she stick by no one other then her
sister, a real sassy cat. Have no idea why she helped you out though, no offense, or if she's planning on staying around or not - she and her sister
gives away as much as they need. Lunetta has picked up a girl that she protects at all time since the last time you were, kid's name's Kim something
or the other... Lunetta's powers are Hypnosis and Cloaking, so she's helping to keep this place safe, and Kim has Psychic Shields - haven't found
out her second power though."
Pulling a hand through his hair, B.C. had revealed pretty much everything he knew. To his defense it wasn't out of lack of trying that he didn't
know more - but like he had said, the girls hid everything they could hide.
"Oh, and Rayla's here as well of course, haven't seen her around though..."

Rayla
The dark haired vixen exited the training chamber with a rather smug look on her face, which didn't really vary from how she usually looked. Rayla
had been enjoying an extra long shift of training, keeping her mind focused on the mission at hand. At the thought of torturing and killing some Demon
Hunters, an evil smirk lit up her face. She tapped her sharpened fingernails against the cement wall in boredom while trying to think of what to do
next in order to stay entertained. Being somewhat overactive did cause Rayla to bore easily and that's when her bad temper surfaced.
What's one to do for fun around here? I guess I could always... nah, done that already. Hmm, maybe there's... crap, no more of those! Gah! Not
one fucking thing left worth doing in this wasteland...
Rayla clenched her fists in frustation and drove one straight into the wall without slowing down a step, ignoring the otherwise numbing pain shooting
up trough her arm and echoing through her body. It wasn't until she'd reached her quarters that she noticed the bloodtrace leading up to the door
and she reminded herself to order one of the lower level demons to clean it up later. At the moment she had more important matters to attend to. Like
paying a certain Demon a visit, giving him her own kind of welcoming.
It's as good as anything. Sure as hell beats sitting around here doing nothing...
She got out of her training clothes, tossing them aside on the floor before stepped over to the bed where a dress already laid out. Rayla
put it on, zipping it up in the back while admiring herself in the mirror. Rayla made no attempt at hiding her vanity and instead embraced it, well
aware of her natural beauty. After admiring her reflection for a while, Rayla exited her quarters with a pleasent smirk firmly in place.
Locating Blackthorne was easier than Rayla had expected and when she realized he already had company, Rayla didn't think twice before entering the
quarters.
"Well well, how to nice to see I'm not the only one grateful that our Leader have returned at last. Things were beginning to get boring without you,
my dear. Don't know how we would've survived if it hadn't been for B.C. here."
Rayla slowly kneeled before Blackthorne while maintaining eye contact and with the smirk still in place. As she stood back up, she glanced over in
B.C.'s direction.
"Have you managed to track down that sister of mine yet, darling?"

Jay grabbed the beer as B.C had one of the servants find them some almost instantly. In a way, the Demon knew B.C was devoted to him in his own way
and responding to orders that easily, without making a scene proved to him that he was indeed right to put his trust in B.C. The Demon could be a
great ally for Jaysen and for the time being, it was better to have Billy by his side than to have to work against him. If that was to change in the
future though, Jaysen wouldn't hesitate to do what needed to be done in order to insure his own survival. Listening to B.C speak, answering his
question about Seline, Jaysen let the cold liquid roll down his throat as he pondered on the information he was given. In a way, he did wonder why
help came so... easily, without him having to demand it and why Seline chose to go out of her ways to free him once Lunetta had done her part and
freed her sister. His attention shifting to Rayla, the thoughts and theories about Seline were soon nothing but a memory when the Demon laid eyes on
the beautiful woman who had just entered. Looking down at the woman as she kneeled before him, Jaysen felt a surge of power he hadn't felt for a
while now; ever since he had been captured by these d*mn Hunters. It was all in the past now, though, and the Leader was back where he belonged.
"Rayla, dressed up for my return?", the Demon asked. The woman was extremely beautiful and she knew it; with or without a comment from Jaysen. His
eyes locked on Rayla, Jaysen let a small grin creep up on his face.
"Now I know why I missed this place so d*mn much".

Seline
Seline was walking down one of the underground lairs many corridors. She moved with an almost feline grace, which really wasn't very strange
considering her powers, and her sheer red dress floated flatteringly around her curvaceous body. She was looking for her sister. Sighting slightly as
she'd already looked in most places where the girl usually stayed while in the lair - at least since she'd picked up that pet of hers... Seline
could understand why Lunetta had taken the girl under her wing, seeing as her powers could come in handy and having an easy going nature Seline
didn't care much about her sisters reasons for taking care of the girl. However her distrusting nature made her suspicious about the young girl -
though she seemd fairly harmless at the moment. And if that would change, well... She had protected her sister plenty of times before and she would
easily do it again.
Returning to her own quaters, tastefully decorated in dark wood and deep tones of red that accentuated her bronzed skin and dark complexion, she hoped
the her sister would hear that she had been looking for her and come to find her instead. Selines quarters was situated close to Jaysens own - a
slight perk from having help with the escape, and as she closed in she couldn't help but noticing that the man himself was finally back. Stopping in
the doorway she leaned gracefully against it as she let her dark eyes travel across the assembled demons, stopping at the powerful figure of Jaysen
Blackthorne.
"Welcome back," she smiled softly, more or less ignoring the others presence.

Rayla
Rayla looked back at Blackthorne, momentarily ignoring B.C. She managed to maintain her smirk, locking eyes with Blackthorne for a moment before
responding to his little comment.
"If you say so, Leader. Always nice to know it's appreciated."
The grin on Blackthorne's face told Rayla all she had to know, but before she could get a word out, Seline suddenly entered the room. The fact that
she pretty much ignored Rayla was something Rayla practically expected after all these years. The two Demons had never really clicked and neither ever
cared enough to even try, but Rayla respected Seline - in her own twisted way, which meant that she never said anything out loud. After all, sucking
up to people and exposing yourself by showing emotions were all pointless. Good thing she was a demon.

Jaysen had heard about the fact the Rayla and Seline weren't the best of friends... to put it lightly and as soon as Seline made her presence known,
the Demon was fully aware of a certain tension rising in the air. The fact of the matter was, he hadn't seen Seline ever since the breakout and a
part of him desperately wanted answers from the woman. It was true that a part of him understood how Seline felt somewhat obligated to free him due to
his status, but at the same time, she could have easily claimed his title by letting him rot in that hellhole. The fact that she had taken an even
bigger risk by freeing him after she had escaped with the help of her sister made Seline somewhat of a mystery to Jaysen. And mysteries were
attractive. Very attractive in some cases.
Nodding as he acknowledged Seline, Jaysen finished the beer B.C had given him before looking at the small gathering of Demons.
"Rayla, we'll have a word later. I need you to do something for me" Jaysen said as he locked eyes with the woman for a split second before turning
his attention back to Seline.
"Let's go somewhere a little less busy, yes?"
Jaysen walked off on the Demons without another word as he headed for his private quarters. He did need to have a talk with B.C, and he would keep his
word to Rayla by meeting her later but for now the person he was most interested in talking to privately was Seline. It was rare that Jaysen invited
anyone to his quarters due to the general size of the Lair but Seline had more than earned that privilege.

B.C.
Not even noticing Seline as she entered, Billy turned towards Rayla and smiled at her question. In his opinion Rayla was an understated demon in the
lair, while other were highly overrated. Before he could answer her questions, some comments where exchanged, it was only as Seline spoke that Billy
noticed that she was even there, and not even with moderate interest. Instead he shrugged towards Jaysen's comment and instead put an arm around
Rayla's waist and started leading the both of them away from the room and down one of the corridors.
"To answer your question earlier, sweet, yes I have. At least to an extent."
As they passed other demons in the corridor, he noticed how they had a way of moving well out of Billy's and Rayla's way.
"You'll be happy to hear that she's in the city, but getting an exact address proved more difficult. I have a scout out, trying to find her. Have
to hand it to the Demon Hunters, they hide their agents pretty damn good," he smirked and turned slightly to meet Rayla's eyes. "Can't you do some
twin-thing to find her?"

Seline
Seline had never been one of those women who easily made friends with others of the same sex. Apart from her sister she had noone. And that was the
way she liked it. She didn't care much for other women's company and hence never bother to make friends like that. So it didn't surprise her when
Rayla ignored her back.
However Seline did have a way with men... Which she assumed was one of the reasons she never got along to well with other women. But she never cared
much for them either.Instead she used them to get what she wanted and have some fun before moving on. She had always been a lone cat and she'd always
thought that was the way it was going to stay. But since she'd met Jaysen Blackthorne something had made her do very uncharacteristic things. It
wasn't that she could have left him where he was and taken his place... She had never been interested in being the leader. Knowing she was more
powerful than most other demons - and making sure they knew that and stayed out of the way - was more than enough for her. However, helping someone
without having a goal, something to gain from it, was not like her. Yet she had helped him. She'd even had to convince her, sometimes very annoying,
little sister to help.
Looking at the man she wondered what it was that had made her act the way she had. She was attracted to him, there was no doubt about that. But
attraction alone was not something that would affect her in such a way. She was a woman very much in control of her feelings and desires... Even
though she had a way of acting on them she never did so without knowing what it was she wanted to get out of it. And this time she wasn't sure she
knew that. Pushing that aside she smiled as Jaysen invited her to his private quarters, knowing that it was an privilege and followed him gracefully
without a glance at the other two demons.
When they reached his rooms she waited quietly, with a soft smile on her lips, for him to speak first, curious as she was to know why he wished to
speak to her - though she could guess why...

Rayla
Feeling B.C.'s arm around her waist, Rayla's immediate reaction was to remove it. Violenty. But as they headed out of the room and down the hallway,
she eased up. As well as she ever could. Hearing B.C. tell her about her sister didn't trigger anything in Rayla. She knew she had a so-called sister
who was a full fledged Demon Hunter and that did invoke great hatred in Rayla, but she felt nothing else for the sister.
"And here I thought you were the best at what you do."
Rayla looked up at B.C., a coy smirk once again firmly in place. Teasing and taunting was something she'd always enjoyed and always been very good
at. While she was one to be brutally honest, it didn't mean she wasn't allowed to have some fun in the process.
"You know, darling, I do believe you're overestimating this whole 'twin sister' thing. She's nothing but a Demon Hunter that must be destroyed,
like all the others. But I might have an idea on how to make her come to us..."

Not even taking offense when the beautiful woman by her side asked him if he wasn't supposed to be the best at what he did, he continued to listen to
what she had to say and his eyes lit up as it seemed like Rayla had a plan.
"I love it when a woman talk dirty," he winked at her as they continued down yet another corridor. "Would you mind filling me in, love? I'd be
happy to help you in your crusade."
Though he'd hate to admit it, Billy had a weakness for beautiful women and Rayla was no exception - and of course he was always up for a good hunt.
With a ruthless woman on top of that, or him either way was good, everything has started to look a lot better then it had the weeks that had passed.

Rayla
Liking the attention she was getting from B.C., Rayla's satisfied smirk was on its way to becoming a permenant fixture on her flawless face. She knew
all too well how men like B.C. worked but then again she was hardly much different as a woman.
"Unlike me, that sister of mine acts disturbingly much like a Human. Which makes her very predictable and I'll bet that she'd jump at the chance at
trying to 'save' me from the dark side. So why not give her the perfect opportunity to try and do just that?"

Stopping when Rayla told him her plan, his grin grew wider and Billy pulled the stunning woman closer to him while nodding. It was a rather brilliant
plan he had to give her that and one that only she could have come up with. Billy wasn't one to put one on his side in danger - unless he really
wanted to get rid of the person in question which happened from time to time.
"Yes, there seems to be something wrong with her from your story, but then again she hangs with DH..." Quietly he wondered how far she'd let him
go. "I'd gladly put you in distress for your weak half to save..."

"Now, darling, we probably have to start off small. She might be weak, but she's also a fully trained Demon Hunter. They're taught to act on the
cautious side at times like these, so I'm thinking we'll track her down first and see what kind of options her weaknesses will give us."
Rayla started going over ideas in her head, finding herself getting excited for the first time in ages. But being the emotionless android she'd
gained the reputation as, excitment looked a lot like gloating.

"Yes, of course, small," he stated as let got of her almost completely, but still had his arm around her waist as they continued walking. "Leave
the weaknesses to me, I can figure them out rather quickly..."
Yes, his power could do that and he loved every part of it. It had proved helpful a lot of times, as people were almost always thrown off when you
pushed their fears upon them. Billy rarely killed with it though, but had started to do so recently when he learned how fun it could be.
"So, how were you planning on setting this plan in motion? I mean, does she even know she has a sister?" Billy realized he didn't know a lot about
Rayla, or her twin sister for that matter. Only the bounty, and he could collect that easily now that Rayla was on his side - not that he planned on
sharing it in any big way.

Jaysen entered his private quarters and left the door open, knowing that Seline would surely be close behind him. When the woman appeared at the door,
Jay waited for her to come inside before closing the door behind her. He was fully aware of the fact that Seline was probably wondering why she had
been summoned to the Demon's quarters as he couldn't even remember the last time such an invitation was issued and wondered if it had ever happened
before. There was some... tension, or something, in the air and Jaysen noticed that Seline seemed somewhat careful; eyeing the room and waiting
quietly which seemed out of character for the woman.
"I'm sure you know why you're here" Jaysen said suddenly, breaking the awkward silence and looking at Seline; knowing that she probably didn't
know the reason behind Jaysen's invitation and slightly amused as he waited to see what her answer would be. Of course, she could go for the safe
answer and assume that he invited her for rather... personal reasons but it still made Jaysen grin cockily as he waited for her answer. Did he like
seeing his Demons weaknesses? No, but he did like to see the... struggle, somewhat, in his presence. After all, there was no better way to control
people than to plant seeds of doubts in their minds and make them uncertain about things. It was simple, really; if it was assumed that Seline should
know why she had been summonded to Jaysen's quarters then the fact that she doesn't know cannot help but make her question herself on some level.
Did she miss something? What else had passed by her unoticed?

Seline
Raising an eyebrow slightly Seline could not help but to smile a bit amused at his words and cocky smile. She used mind games on a daily basis to get
what she wanted and she was not normally insecure in any way. She had obviously let her thoughts shine through more than she had intended to. Walking
up to him with slow deliberate movements Seline stopped a few inches away, calmly meeting his gaze with a hint of a mischievous smile on her beautiful
face.
"The fact is," she said softly. "that I don't know why... I was waiting for you to tell me."

"Oh, she knows. Which is why this'll be far more entertaining. You just find out what her weaknesses are and I'll take it from there."
Rayla suddenly pulled to a stop, smirking at B.C. as she made her way over to her quarters. The scheming was over for now and she decided she needed
some rest in order to develop the last part of her plan. She might've jumped the gun a little too early but it really didn't take much to figure out
how to take down at least this particular Demon Hunter.
"See you later, darling."
With a quick mischevious smirk, Rayla closed the door behind her without awaiting a response.

There definitely seemed to be some sort of flirting going on between Jay and Seline and for the moment Jaysen enjoyed every second of it. Watching
with a greedy smile on his face as the woman walked closer to him, Jaysen eyed her with a certain interest as she spoke, ever so softly.
"I'm intrigued by your actions and I want to know why you chose to free me when you could have let me rot in there. Why the risk?"
Jay said simply as he looked at the woman. He knew she would probably try and feed him some excuse about her loyalty and her choosing to free him
because of who he was but the both of them knew it was nothing more than a bunch of lies. There was no way Seline would take such a risk simply to
free Jaysen if she didn't want anything in return. Or at least that's what the man thought. Maybe he didn't know Seline as much as he thought he
did but something inside of him assured him that he wasn't far from the truth with these thoughts.

Bird was bored. This was a very dangerous thing. She stood there, watching the world fly by. It wasn't time that she controled, not really. It
was her own speed in relation to time. She couldn't go backwards or glimpse the future. . . just adjust the flow of 'now'. She had spent the
last century or so, a mere couple of hours in her life, watching mortal develope the village, now a ctiy, around her. She hadn't bothered to cloak
herself, but instead had painted herself grey and stood in the town square, a statue. It was easy to stand still when a second to you was a year to
those around you. Any movements she made were so minute and gradual that none noticed. . . except on the ocasions where she had deviously slowed the
flow of time, moved - or made faces, then return to position sped time up again. The poor soul to witness such a manuver was normally haulled off in
a white jacket. She had even slit a throat or two. And who would suspect the statue? But now she was bored of the game.
With a quick thought she cloaked herself and slowed time. She got a kick out of watching the faces and hearing the exclamations of people suddenly
noticing the lack of a statue nearly as old at the city itself! They couldn't see her, cloaked as she was. She laughed softly to herself as she
walked away. After a quick bathroom break to wash the paint off, a break in which three mortals died for having the audacity to be in her way, she
made her way to the nearest seedy bar. The architecture and technology were new and different, but the atomsphere was the same as any hole in the
wall pub she had ever ventured into in the old country. Tough talking whimps, theives and beggars. Same old crowd. It was in places like this that
she learned the most useful info. about her own kin, Demons.
It didn't take her long to find a couple of her people. Back in a dim corner they leaned close, whispering and glancing around the bar. She stopped
time and wound her way closer. Still cloaked, she returned time to its proper speed and listened to their conversation. They weren't Demons, not
really. They were traitors, Demon Hunters! Pushing her disgust aside she listened as they spoke of a city somewhere to the south of the New York
town she found herself in. A place called Miami seemed to have become a war zone of late between the hunters and her true to the blood brothers and
sisters. That was what she needed, a location to aim for. A quick flick of her wrists brought her daggers to her fingertips. One in each hand, one
across each throat. Time froze again, before the dead could even realize their fate. She stole a swig of rum and coke as she made her way to the
door. Screams and panic erupted from the building behind her as she began her journey.
It took her some time to become accustomed to the new speach patterns and technologies. Cars were a marvel! But motorcycles were better. She stole
a 'hog' from a mortal and made her way south. In due time she found the correct city, and began her search. Cloaked and manipulating time at need,
she eventually found and slipped through an entrance to the underground lair. The guard, for all his attentiveness, was no match for a time bender!
She walked boldy uncloaked, clad only in biker leathers, through the hallways of this lower world. She felt confident she could handle anything. Her
slim, yet enticingly curved sixteen year old body was faster and strong than most would expect. Her blonde hair and youth often led people to
underestimate her. Her beautiful blue eyes shone with malicious humor and her sweet lips curled into a dark smile. She could play here! Yes,
she could have fun here!

Seline
Tilting her head slightly as he spoke Seline couldn't help but to wonder the same thing. Why had she helped him? She had never been one to take
orders or work underneath someone and yet she had help free one of the most authoritative and powerful demons to date. For a split second she
considered telling him some made-up story about admiration and what not, but she got a feeling that that was what he was expecting. That it was what
he was used to hear. So she decided very spontaneously - which was typically her, to tell the truth - which was very unlike her.
"I don't know." Eyeing him calmly from top to toe, taking in everything about him, she shrugged in a soft feminine way. "It was a risk I didn't
have to take..." Meeting his eyes once more she smiled flirtatiously. "The only reason I can come up with is that you interest me."
She felt like touching him, maybe in a way to see how far she could get with him, but something made her hold back. Instead Seline stayed where she
was - close but not touching, waiting to see his reaction to her words.
