Jennipher

It was a lot to take in all at the same time. It seemed as if they were trying to give her time to react, but at the same time didn't want to give her a whole lot of time to think. Smiling at Vince for helping her with her wrists they no longer hurt and she was grateful.

Jenni almost got tears in her eyes as Cassaundra laid out clothes and showed her where the bathroom was. A bath would feel so nice. Suddenly everything wasn't as bad as it had been. Of course she was still in a situation she had to get out of, but at least now she wasn't as afraid of dying. That was until Rayla entered the room. Not saying much, or looking directly at the woman, she tried to seem uninterested and she succeeded rather well.

Excusing herself she soon left the group and went into the bathroom, closing the door behind her. Getting out of her smelly and dirty clothes she stood in place for a while, feeling the cool air around her body. Letting out her long, dark hair she stepped into the tub and soon the warm water embraced her entire body. She even dipped down completely once and so her hair was drenched. Sitting like that for the longest time, she reached for a glass of cold water - and ended up having four of them.

Even though she would have loved having stayed in for longer, her empty stomach told her to get up, get dressed and ask Cassaundra if she could please get some food. Getting dressed she left her brown hair in turban on her head as she stepped out to where the others were - almost a new woman.

"Excuse me," her voice held new strength but she still didn't want to bother anyone so she sounded almost shy. "Is there any chance to get something to eat? I'm starving..."

Mariah

Listening to Riley she couldn't help but trust the other woman, it was easy for her until they did wrong by her. People only did that once. It didn't bother her that Riley explained what she meant by a shrug, quite the opposite - she greatly appreciated it. If there was something she didn't get it was people's gestures most of the times.

"Thank you."

They kept walking even though Riley had asked her a question, it took her a while before she answered. Not bothering with asking what Riley meant by asking "what the appeal" was.

"I am just curious. I just wanted to see what it was like down here, and who were here too..."

Then they walked in silence, closing in on the room where a group of people had entered, and another woman after them. Mariah stayed short of the door.

"I am not entering," with that she left the bags really close to the door and the mat ended up next to them.

Cassaundra

After Jennipher had made it into the bathroom, Cassaundra turned to Rayla, her eyes flaring with anger. She needed not say anymore about the young ladies intrusion and almost blowing the demoness' little game so quickly. Of course, any of the three in the room could have killed the young lady at the drop of a hat, but it was cat and mouse. Play with the prey before you kill it, unless Jennipher felt the specific need to stick around. Then again, it would be nice to let her loose so they all could be led to some more agents or even the building. The lair was much harder to find then Headquarters, it always was.

Waiting patiently, trying not to cause a stir, she crossed her arms tapping her right fingers lightly against her left forearm, she looked around, and as Jennipher surfaced asking for food Cass wanted to rip her head off immediately. What in the hell else could she need? What a needy little witch. Smiling softly, she noticed Riley out of the corner of her eyes, and looked at Jennipher.

"Of course, let me help my assistant carry in things, she generally brings dinner, and I believe when I contacted one of the demons she was alerted of your presence."

Walking nonchalantly to the door, she was out of the view of her guests and tried to wrestle the bags out of her hand. Whispering to Riley, as she wasn't willing to give up the bags at first, shocked the Cass was helping.

"23, let go of the bags, I'm helping..."

Riley

She nearly dropped the bags seeing Cass walk out to greet her, or something to that effect. She nearly let out a scream as Cass grabbed the bags. Was she going to be killed for it not being completely finished? Not wanting to let go of the bags at first she heard Cass, and responded a bit with a sarcastic tone and a slight whisper.

"What the hell is with the good Samaritan act?"

They bickered back and forth for a moment, but Riley ultimately conjured a meal that appeared to be from a ritzy cafe. Cass didn't even notice Mariah, and after 23 delivered the meal and got everything in the suite, she just smiled and waved at everyone and disappeared from site.

Cass

Breathing a sigh of relief, that dainty little bitch had quite the pull, she acted as if she was getting mugged when Cass came to help. Handing Jennipher the meal with a smile, she didn't think much of food herself, and was never a fan of conjured food. Anyone without a vast deal of experience with demon powers would not notice the difference, but she did. The food was just as filling and had perfect presentation.

"I hope you like it, my assistant is very prone to details."

After freeing her hands, she brought them swiftly passed her shoulders and then flung her hair back a bit, freeing it from her shoulders as it began cascading down her back. Looking back to Vince and Rayla she smiled offering to get 23 back to the room with more food if necessary.

Riley

She had noticed that Mariah had become very distant when they came closer to the room. Riley did not anticipate this exact reaction, but Mariah seemed social awkward. She also noticed that her help disappeared the moment they began seeing people. After dealing with Cass, surprised she did not have to do more, she breathed a sigh of relief. Beginning to walk away, Riley looked at Mariah as she rounded the corner.

"There's a lounge area around the corner. There aren't a lot of people around at the moment, so why don't we just go talk. You don't have to, but I need to know where you got your shoes from because they are a-mazing."

Riley smiled with that thought and began walking towards the lounging area. She just loved the fact that she might actually get a girlfriend who wasn't in to ripping people's guts out and talking about demon hunters all the time. Who the hell cared? It's not Riley was a target of the Hunters or anything. She wouldn't be surprised if her father was, and she knew Cass definitely was on the top of the hitlist, but that's why she was learning from her. How to be powerful, rich, and evade those who want to bring harm.

Jennipher

Smiling brightly when Cassaundra mentioned that food could be arranged, she looked over to Vince and Rayla and wasn't sure what to say next. Pondering that she didn't notice what went on close to door, her eyes focused on Rayla now feeling stronger and more confident.

"Have you been here long?" she asked the other woman, before turning to accept the food from Cassaundra. "Thank you... I... thank you," she sat down in the sofa as well and started eating.

Mariah

Unlike Jennipher, she had witnessed the bickering at the door from her secure place among the hellings. Once Riley was done with her delivery she became fully visible again as she started walking next to the other woman.

It wasn't an emotion she could have described herself but there was something comforting about walking next to a woman close to her own age, something that made her relax and as Riley mentioned her shoes Mariah looked down on them and recognized a compliment.

"Thank you, but I do not know where they are from, they were a gift from my father who lives with my mother in Rome..."

Once they got to the seating area, she removed one shoe and handed it to Riley. "Can you conjure up a pair like it? It is fine by me..."

Riley

Riley could see that Mariah was still present, the Hellings couldn't clearly be seen by Riley, but the power could be seen. Her sensing abilities made that very clear to her. That's why she had spoke without having to see Mariah, even though she was confident she had been hidden from Cass's view, which was probably best. Hearing Mariah describe where she had picked up her shoes, and learning that they were gifted, Riley just smiled with appreciation and even let out a sigh of jealousy, she hadn't been anywhere except with Cass since starting her "internship" which was more like indentured servitude.

"Rome. I love Rome, it's so gorgeous this time of the year. You know, there was a day where I could have just jumped on my father's private jet and been there at a snap of the fingers."

Riley emphasized this point by snapping her fingers. Looking at Mariah's shoes one last time when Mariah said she could conjure them, Riley just smiled at the thought, and knew she had a lot to teach Mariah. Taking her seat and then the sight of the shoe, Riley nodded her head indicating she could indeed conjure the shoe, but handed it back to Mariah.

"Your family took a lot of time picking out these shoes because they're perfect for you, not me. The trick of having amazing shoes is that someone never has the same pair. Trust me, you do not want to be on the red carpet in the same clothes as someone else, much less the same shoes."

Reclining, it had been the first time in weeks that she had relaxed. She didn't have many opportunities, so God bless Cassaundra trying to punk out some naive little girl for the chance at what, a game?

"So Mariah, like, Rome? Were you raised there? It has to be absolutely glorious pretty much all year round."

Vince

Hiding a smile as Cassaundra did something so out of character as actually helping her own assistant Vince almost had a hard time keeping a straight face. As he and Rayla was offered food as well he politely turned it down, being quite sure it wouldnt be a good idea to try and take advantage of Cass' act. They would surely pay for it later.

Watching Jennie eat and asking Rayla a question Vince decided it was time for him to leave. If Cassaundra didn't have any other plans that was.

"Well I'm glad you seemed much better Jennie." he said before Rayla had a chance to answer. "Since I'm not needed here anymore I best be off..." The last was directed to Cassaundra as a half question, though not too openly as to make Jennipher think he had to ask her premission.

Rayla

Rayla wasn't in the mood for food and so she declined Cassaundra's silent offer, and instead kept her focus fixed on Jennipher. Then when the young demoness came and sat down in the sofa next to Rayla, she just barely managed to hold back the evil smirk tugging at her lips.

Jennipher then started talking to her while enjoying her meal and Rayla pondered her reply for a moment. Making it possible for Vince to interject before turning his attention towards Cassaundra. Rayla looked over at Jennipher, who was still consuming her food.

"Have I been here long?" Rayla repeated, almost laughing at the question. But then again someone such as Jennipher would be just the person to ask that kind of question. "Yeah, I've been here a while. It's actually not as bad as it seems."

Unlike Cassaundra, Rayla's facial expression didn't change much seeing as how she wasn't one to show actual emotions. They had been buried deep within her many years ago, but Rayla wasn't aware of that. She only knew how to be one way and that was pure evil. And so she wasn't even able to force on a fake smile in order to reassure Jennipher like Cassaundra was doing.
"So tell me, Jennipher," Rayla said. "How come a nice girl like yourself ended up down here?"

Cassaundra

Smiling as Jennipher nearly ravaged the food, she just looked around at the other two, who didn't seem to want anything to do with the food. As Vince said he was going to leave, Cassaundra smiled and nodded.

"Thank you so much for stopping by Vince. It was very nice of you to help both Jenni and myself."

Looking at Rayla as she answered Jennipher's question Cassaundra held her breath waiting for the young woman to reply. Cass just looked at Jennipher, her eyes examining the girl to see her reactions with Rayla's comments and questions. She could have left the good girl comment off, Closing her eyes momentarily and turning away fishing in a drawer and exhaling, Rayla wasn't impressing her at the moment. She had to try harder.

Vince

Giving a slight nod to all assembled as Cassaundras gave him permission to leave, Vince walked over to the heavy doors and left. Giving Jennie a friendly wink before closing the door behind him.

As he walked away down the dreary corridors he shook his head with a mischievous smile on his lips as he couldn't help but to wonder if Rayla would manage to keep herself out of trouble. From what he'd heard she was quite good at finding it, or maybe it was trouble that always found her...?

Well he could only wait and see. Apparently he'd made the right choice in coming to Miami tough. It was definitely here you wanted to be for some fun.

With a cheerful mood and whistling a happy little tune Vince decided to find himself some nice, and hopefully some less scruffy, quarters.
